The Cerefy Neuroradiology Atlas is a remarkable new electronic tool that enables the radiologist to rapidly explore and automatically
label MRI anatomic and functional scans of the brain. The Cerefy Neuroradiology Atlas is available for downloading from this web site.
By using this application, you will be able to:
|
- Interactively label morphological images.
- Rapidly correlate structural and functional images using both labeling and an atlas-based triplanar display.
- Quickly locate structures when analyzing functional images.
- Mark, measure and annotate regions of interest right on the scan.
- Save the labeled and annotated brain images in DICOM format (in a PACS) or in XML format (to use in web-enabled applications).

By providing information on anatomy and spatial relationships, the Cerefy Neuroradiology Atlas increases the confidence level of radiologists
who do not interpret brain images often. Likewise, the atlas is also of value to radiology residents called upon to interpret brain scans in
emergency situations. The Cerefy Neuroradiology Atlas facilitates the transfer of information about the interpreted scans from the neuroradiologist
to other clinicians, such as neurosurgeons, neurologists, and referring physicians. Using the atlas, medical students and radiology residents can
quickly label radiological images, greatly enhancing the learning of neuroanatomy and scan interpretation.
