application on CD-ROM (approx. 16MB). It is primarily aimed at
medical and paramedical students educators and researchers.
However it can be utilised by the experienced health professional;
wanting to either learn or consolidate their knowledge of human

With the widespread use of digital multiplane crosssectional
imaging, it is surprising that only recently have interactive
computerised explanatory anatomic texts been written and become popular.
Possibly this is because most are cumbersome to run, require a high-powered
computer and considerable training before useful information is acquired.

referred to http:www.cerefy.com for more information). The
present CD-ROM provides an atlas of sectional brain anatomy that
contains 135 indexed subcortical and cortical brain areas that are
fully referenced in axial, coronal, and sagittal MR images. The
